| Six ans après leur séparation, les cinq chanteuses ont annoncé jeudi la reformation de leur groupe en vue d'une tournée mondiale.
"Le pouvoir des filles est de retour, plus puissant que jamais", a écrit le groupe sur son site internet pour annoncer cette série de 11 concerts entre décembre 2007 et janvier 2008.

"Ginger", "Posh", "Sporty", "Scary" et "Baby"...vous vous souvenez de ces cinq filles ? Ce sont bien sûr les Spice girls, le célèbre groupe de variété qui a annoncé jeudi sa reformation en vue d'une tournée mondiale, six ans après leur séparation. "Le pouvoir des filles est de retour, plus puissant que jamais", a écrit le groupe sur son site internet pour annoncer cette série de 11 concerts entre décembre 2007 et janvier 2008.
Les Spice girls se produiront le 7 décembre à Los Angeles, puis à Las Vegas, New York, Londres, Cologne, Madrid, Pékin, Hong Kong, Sydney, le Cap et Buenos Aires. Le groupe anglais, créé en 1994, compte cinq membres, dont la très glamour Victoria Beckham (Posh spice), épouse du footballeur David Beckham. Elle était la complice de Geri Halliwell ou "Ginger Spice", Melanie Brown ou "Scary Spice", Melanie Chisholm ou "Sporty Spice" et Emma Bunton ou "Baby Spice".
Le 31 mai 1998, Geri avait annoncé qu'elle quittait le groupe à cause de "différences" avec ses camarades. Continuant à quatre, les Spice girls avaient sorti leur troisième et dernier album en 2000, avant d'annoncer en février 2001 leur séparation.
